Before you refine: prerequisites

The Wiki's Stone Refinery and Quests pages say rank 50; its Town Rank table says 55. The preceding Inn repair is required in both accounts. These are conflicting source values, not a guaranteed range.

  1. Finish Upgrade the Inn, including the payment and final conversation.
  2. Check Adeline's letter when your rank reaches 50. If the quest is absent, check the 55 milestone too.
  3. Attend the meeting at the Mines entrance.
  4. Put 200 Wood + 400 Stone + 20 Sap in the project box outside the Mines.
  5. Speak to Adeline and pay 5,000t. Confirm that the refinery bench is available before planning a refining run.

Follow the town-repair chain if the Inn has not been upgraded. Do not pay the money into a material slot or count ore as ingots on earlier repairs.

Select a recipe and reserve enough Stone

The five example recipes in the next table each list 10 in-game minutes of base crafting time. Do not apply that time to every refinery recipe: the Essence Stones below take 20 minutes before modifiers. These are game-time costs, not real-world seconds.

Open the bench, select the output and check the displayed batch size before confirming. Do not convert the Stone still reserved for an unfinished repair. After crafting, confirm that the selected output is in your inventory; completing the construction donation does not craft it automatically.

Essence Stones for powered statues

Giant Essence Stone additionally requires Magic Design. Craft the stone, then supply it to a powered statue; owning loose Essence alone is not the same as loading fuel. The counts above are charges, not a promise that the fuel expires after that many calendar days: Water Sprite Statues do not spend Essence during inclement weather. See automatic watering for placement and recovery rules.

Completion check

The repaired bench is interactable, its recipe menu opens, and a completed batch adds the chosen material to your inventory. Check these separately: finishing the repair does not mean you have crafted Refined Stone yet.

Troubleshooting

  • No quest: finish the Inn's last hand-in and check the rank/source conflict above.
  • Box filled, bench absent: complete Adeline's payment and final conversation.
  • Recipe cannot be made: check the exact ingredient and requested batch quantity, not the output's selling price.
  • Unexpected production: inspect Mining perks such as Refined Rockery and Break One, Get Two. The base recipe is separate from perk bonuses.
