Start at the Bathhouse

Juniper is a marriage candidate, a sorceress, and the Bathhouse owner alongside her familiar Dozy. That makes the Bathhouse the useful first location for her character route, potion-related errands, and early Heart Quests. Plan a visit after a town errand or mine return, so a relationship stop also has a practical place in the day.

Do not mix Juniper’s character events with the separate Bathhouse Date destination. A Juniper Heart Quest is followed from its letter, Request Board entry, or Journal objective, while a Bathhouse Date is a shared Dating-system activity. Read the active objective first, then make the matching trip instead of assuming every bathhouse prompt advances the same track.

Use confirmed Juniper gifts

Juniper’s confirmed loved gifts include Mushroom Brew, Pizza, Moon Fruit Cake, Spell Fruit Parfait, Hardened Essence, Ancient Royal Scepter, and Void Newt. The first two are the most useful practical choices because Mushroom Brew is listed at Darcy’s Stall or Balor’s Wagon, and Pizza can be cooked from Tomato, Cheese, and Flour once its recipe is available. Void Newt is also loved, but the reference ties it to The Dragonsworn Tablet, so it should not be treated as routine inventory.

Juniper also likes Latte, Middlemist, Monster Powder, Morel Mushroom, Nettle, Newt, and Night Queen. Use a liked item when a loved item is needed for a recipe, mine goal, or collection, and do not spend a rare artifact just because it is on the loved list. Her gift table marks universal dislikes as unsafe by default, except for listed exceptions such as Newt and Sod.

The gift guide explains shared friendship rules, while the cooking guide is the next stop if Pizza is the target. Pizza needs Tomato, Cheese, and Flour, so reserve those three items before handing one over. This avoids discovering that a “good gift” was the missing ingredient for a request or another recipe.

Follow Juniper’s Heart Quest chain

Juniper’s first Heart Quest, Becoming Juniper’s Guinea Pig, is posted on the Request Board at 2 hearts and sends the player to the Bathhouse. Horsing Around follows from a letter at 4 hearts, and Working Like a Dog follows at 6 hearts; both point back to the Bathhouse. These are sequential character tasks, so complete the current one before expecting the next letter.

At 8 hearts, Potions and Errands asks for a Breath of Flame flower for a bath infusion and additionally requires access to the Lava Caves. Prepare that mine access before trying to trigger the event, then take the flower to the Bathhouse. The special 10-heart quest A Craving asks for Pizza at the Farm, which is why its recipe, three ingredients, and a prepared copy belong in the late-route plan.

Use the mine preparation section before working toward Lava Caves access, and the request board guide before spending an ingredient. The mine page keeps gear and healing choices visible, while the request page prevents a current town commitment from being consumed as a gift. Together they make Juniper’s route a checklist instead of a series of vague visits.

Dating to marriage

Spoiler warning: This section gives progression rules, not scene dialogue.

NPC Studio’s relationship update establishes an eight-heart Best Friends or Dating choice for romanceable NPCs. If you want Juniper’s romance route, choose Dating at that event; Dating NPCs can take player-initiated Dates on weekends. Once any character is Dating, the first Date of each type awards a Photo Card.

At 1.0, romanceable NPCs can reach ten hearts and receive proposal and wedding events. When a Dating NPC reaches ten hearts, Elsie delivers the Engagement Ring recipe the following morning and the scroll enables Forge crafting. Complete Juniper’s current Heart Quest first, preserve a Pizza for her late request, then follow the ring recipe and proposal prompt when they arrive.
