Requirements

Reach eight hearts with a romance candidate, complete the required heart quest, and choose the Romantic Path. Bath Soap appears at Wheedle's Stall only while the player is Dating someone. Bring at least 100,000t to cover its price; Bath Soap cannot be sold or gifted.

Unlock Bathhouse Date

Buy Bath Soap from Wheedle's Stall, then use the Date Inspiration item from inventory. Using it, rather than only owning it, unlocks the Bathhouse Date type. Afterward, invite your Dating partner on a weekend to take that Date.

  1. Confirm Dating status before visiting Wheedle at the Saturday Market.
  2. Buy Bath Soap for 100,000t.
  3. Use the item from inventory; do not leave it unused in storage.
  4. On Saturday or Sunday, talk to a Dating partner and select Date → Bathhouse.
  5. After that partner's first Bathhouse Date, check for the Bath Date Photo. The unlock is a Date Inspiration, not an ordinary paid bath or Juniper's heart event.

Invite a partner

On Saturday or Sunday, speak to a Dating partner and choose Date, then select Bathhouse. A partner can take one Date per week. The first Bathhouse Date with a particular partner awards the Bath Date Photo. If Dating Caldarus before the main storyline ends, the published Caldarus exception places starred Date Inspiration destinations in the Deep Woods.

Troubleshooting

Prepare your first photo before inviting

Change into the outfit you want before starting your first Bathhouse Date with that partner. The Dates record, revision 62720, says date photos cannot be retaken. Weather and the time of day affect the image; even the exterior view in the Bath Date Photo changes with the day cycle. If you want a particular look, check those conditions before inviting rather than expecting another date to replace the photo.

Once received, the Photo Card can be displayed on a wall in your house and viewed there. Buying another Bath Soap does not reset a partner's first-photo reward.

  • Bath Soap is absent: establish Dating status first, then visit Wheedle's Stall with 100,000t.
  • Bathhouse is absent after purchase: use Bath Soap from inventory.
  • Date prompt is absent: try Saturday or Sunday and confirm that partner has not already dated that week.
