The fields of mistria achievements system is live on Steam with 69 achievements. Existing saves qualify for retroactive unlocks after they are loaded, with each save evaluated from the data it contains. Open the live Steam list beside the save you want to complete.
What is available in version 1.0.2
NPC Studio added Steam Achievements with the 1.0.0 launch, and Steam shows every name and requirement on its Global Achievements page. The list ranges from finishing the prologue to completing the Museum, so it follows the full game rather than a separate challenge mode. Version 1.0.2 fixes the Time Flies achievement so that reaching a child's first birthday works as intended.
The official records call these Steam Achievements, and the game is currently sold through Steam for PC. Use the names and conditions below only with the live Steam list. For a different platform, open that platform's product page and use its own achievement or trophy interface.
How the 69 achievements are organized
The list is easiest to manage by the progress system each requirement reads. Story and town repair goals cover the prologue, bridges, shops, the mill, seals, Saturday Market vendors, and the Bell Tower. Other groups follow Town Rank, relationships, ranching, skill levels, the Museum, festivals, lifetime totals, marriage, and children.
Use Steam's full achievement page to check any goal you are currently tracking. Re-read its wording after a patch changes a title or condition. Keep your next goal in view while you play so related progress is easier to spot.
| Progress lane | Verified example | Steam requirement |
|---|---|---|
| Opening story | Welcome to Mistria | Finish the prologue scene |

| Town Rank | Mistril Star Rank | Reach Mistril Star Town Rank |
| Mines story | Opened The Final Seal | Break the Final Seal |
| Relationships | Romantic | Reach eight hearts with a romanceable villager and start dating |
| Ranching | Master Rancher | Breed your first Tier 5 animal |
| Skills | Master Farmer | Reach level 60 in Farming |
| Museum | Celebrated Curator | Complete the Museum |
| Festival | First Place | Take first place in a festival |
| Family | Time Flies | Reach your child's first birthday |
Requirements worth planning early
Several goals are cumulative, so normal play can advance them while you work on the story. Gifted asks for 100 Liked or Loved gifts, Essential Essence records a total of 10,000 essence, and Bread Winner records a total of 1,000,000 tesserae. Steam's wording says “total” for the two currencies, so it does not instruct you to hold those amounts at once.
Skills form another long lane. Steam lists level 60 goals for Farming, Cooking, Woodcrafting, and Blacksmithing, while Jack Of All Trades asks for the maximum level in all skills and Perk Procurer asks for a Tier 5 perk in each skill. These requirements support a broad routine across the game's systems instead of repeatedly training only one profession.
Collection goals have narrower finish lines than a general completion spreadsheet. Fish Fanatic requires the Legendary Fish Set, Entomologist requires the Legendary Insect Set, and Celebrated Curator requires the completed Museum. Read the requirement shown in Steam before choosing the next collection goal.
How retroactive unlocks work with old saves
The version 1 patch notes give the clearest rule. Achievements populate after you load an existing save, based on the data in that save, and a player who wants no retroactive popups can start a new file. NPC Studio's version 1 FAQ independently confirms that players do not need a new save for early-game achievements already earned.
Load the save that contains the progress you want the game to examine, then compare the results with Steam's 69-item page. Open established saves one at a time so you can see which unlocks follow each file. Keep every established save until you have checked it under the current patch rather than assuming the newest file contains every old accomplishment.
NPC Studio says achievements populate from stored save data. It does not publish a per-achievement table showing which historic counters or one-time actions are retained. If a completed-looking goal stays locked, verify the exact Steam wording and the installed game version before repeating a lengthy task.
Missable achievements and route choices
Neither NPC Studio's notes nor Steam's live descriptions label any achievement as permanently missable. Some requirements are tied to calendar events or relationship choices, including Love Is In The Air, Happy Birthday, Best Friend, and Romantic. The achievement records state the target action without giving a recovery route, so preserve a normal save before major calendar or relationship decisions.
The official version 1 notes document one relationship boundary that matters when planning. After engagement, other characters you are dating normally switch to Best Friend status, and the setting that prevents those breakups must be enabled before confirming the engagement. Finish or review the eight-heart route achievements before making that confirmation if you want a cautious single-save path.
Calendar requirements deserve the same restraint. Missing a birthday gift or festival objective can delay the related action. Preserve your normal save before a major relationship decision, then follow the wording shown on Steam instead of relying on a blanket “missable” label.
A safe cleanup order
Start by loading each established save on version 1.0.2 and letting its stored progress populate. Next, compare the locked entries against Steam itself, then group them by story, Town Rank, relationship, skill, collection, festival, and family progress. Work on overlapping goals together, such as raising skills while earning essence or completing Museum sets while pursuing their legendary subsets.
- Confirm that Steam shows 69 total achievements before using any checklist.
- Finish direct story and repair requirements that already appear in the Journal.
- Track the four named level-60 skill goals alongside
Jack Of All TradesandPerk Procurer. - Check birthdays, the Shooting Star Festival, and relationship decisions before advancing the calendar or confirming an engagement.
- Leave child-age progression and full-Museum cleanup for the long tail of the run.
If an achievement still fails after its exact requirement is met, update to the current patch and check NPC Studio's latest notes before trying a workaround. Version 1.0.2 already repaired Time Flies, which shows that trigger behavior can change between launch builds. Report a reproducible failure through the official bug form instead of editing a save or trusting an undocumented console command.
